Format: Four modules, self paced, completed independently. A Pre-Course Reflection to start, module lessons in between, Final Reflections plus an end-of-course quiz to close it out.
Who it’s for: Leaders at any level who want to understand emotional intelligence as a practical leadership skill, not an abstract idea. No prior training assumed.
The four modules:
1. Emotional Intelligence as a Leadership Foundation: the four core capabilities of emotional intelligence in a leadership context, why dysregulation carries a real business cost, the five forms of leadership armour, and vulnerability as a genuine leadership skill rather than a liability.
2. Reading and Managing the Emotional Climate: how a leader’s own state sets the emotional climate for a whole team, reading the room accurately, emotional substitution, and a practical model for repairing impact after a reactive moment.
3. Where Old Patterns Show Up in How You Lead: why leadership defaults have a history, four common leadership patterns (the peacekeeper, the achiever, the caretaker, the invisible leader), and how these patterns shift with seniority.
4. Leading from Strength vs. Reactivity: the difference between a reactive and a grounded version of the same leadership pattern, the space between trigger and response, and a 30-day practice for building it.
