Format: Four modules, self-paced, completed independently. A Pre-Course Reflection to start, module lessons in between, Final Reflections plus an end-of-course quiz to close it out.
Who it’s for: Emerging leaders building the internal capacity to stay effective under pressure, uncertainty, and competing demands. No prior training in resilience or psychology assumed.
The four modules:
1. Understanding Resilience – what resilience actually is (not toughing it out or suppressing stress), the demand/capacity/recovery model, and how to recognise the early physical, emotional, cognitive and behavioural signs that capacity is being outstripped.
2. Know Your Patterns – how personal strengths can flip into stress responses under pressure, the trigger→meaning→activation→protective response→behaviour→consequence chain, and the eight pressure-pattern archetypes (Controller, Over-Functioner, Avoider, Pleaser, Perfectionist, Analyst, Reactor, Withdrawer) so people recognise their own default under strain.
3. Regulating Under Pressure & Thinking Clearly in Uncertainty – the difference between reacting and responding, practical tools to regulate before communicating, separating fact from interpretation and assumption, catching the five common cognitive distortions, and a structured way to work out what’s actually within your control before deciding what to do.
4. Boundaries, Energy & Resilient Leadership in Action – sustaining performance over time rather than just through one bad week: setting boundaries, telling the difference between supporting someone and rescuing them, the Resilient Leadership Cycle for staying steady while leading others, and a 30-day commitment to make the shift stick.
